Leapfrog partner stands up: the everyday analogy for Harai Goshi
Leapfrog partner stands up

Mechanic

Tori draws uke's chest forward onto the hip, then sweeps a leg back and up along uke's thighs. The legs are swept skyward while the upper body is already committed over the pivot, so uke rotates over and lands beyond it.

Analogy

You launch into a leapfrog vault with both hands on your friend's crouched back. Halfway over, your friend decides to stand up. Their back lifts your middle, their shoulders take your thighs skyward, and instead of clearing them you wheel right over the top and land on the far side.

Why it maps

The crouched back is tori's hip, a fixed pivot at your waist, and the sudden rise is the sweeping leg lifting your thighs from behind, so a committed upper body rotates all the way over.
